Humor and seriousness

Everyone has two sides, one is good and other is ofcourse bad. But still what i'm speaking about is humor and serious character in a person. As far as i have experimented and analyzed, humorous person mostly try to keep people around him happy, but still those people around him starts to think that he is a joker and they would not respect that humorous person. Person with humor sense is not happy always like most of us think, "I walk in rain to hide my tears" said by Charlie Chaplin. I too experience this, laughing outside but crying inside. Serious person are respected by people, but all serious person hide their humor to show them self to be serious. In this world, everyone tries to hide their self , hide their nature, hide their originality to actually gain respect from society. But is it necessary ??, why shouldnt we be ourself even if could be an ogre like shrek.
Im actually a person with quite high humor sense, but while i become serious at times,............. you can find such a kind of posts from me (lol).....
