Chidambaram Natarajar Temple

Recently I visited the mostly famous Shiva temple at Chidambaram with my family. The Natarajar temple is one among very oldest temples in South India and has several legendary myths. I visited the temple with excitement and eager. The temple was under private concern till last year, but recently undertaken by government and still has a lot of changes to be made especially with the infrastructure. The thillai natarajar statue is very famous and lord shiva's 'space' or 'Akaasa' form is said to exist in this temple. Chidambara Ragasiyum means a virtual representation of the meaning of life and the life force. And this Chidambara ragasiyum or secret of life is a showed to devotees who visit this temple. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to see that, but may be some other time in my future visit i guess i'l get a chance to see that. The temple is so spiritual and all you can feel is the divine vibes around you as you are inside that temple. I got a clear dharshan or ability to see lord Shiva as there was not many people while i visited the temple. There is also "Sri Rangarajar" statue within the Chidambaram temple, lord vishnu with his five head snake (Aathi seshan) giving dharshan to all devotees.
