I hate Cricket because....

It was 6th standard, and till then i too was playing one-pitch cricket with friends and love to play cricket. But after 6th standard, naama yen through catch velada koodathunu oru kelvi manasula (why shouldn't i play the actual cricket ? was the question striking in my mind). But the small guys lived near my place told me, "we are grown up now, so its time for us to play in ground, than simply playing 1-pitch catch game within compound of our house". In those time while i was small i used to see big boys playing in play grounds, how can i play there? i was thinking. So all the small boys including me formed a team and went to ground. (Manasula Sachina nanachikittu groundla kaala yeduthu vechi velada aaramichom, summa avloo jollyaa irundhuthu). Everyone one in my team was very happy and joyfuly playing there and since it was my annual leave of 6th standard, playing in ground became a regular habit of that week. But next week when i started to ground, i heard a voice saying ("Dai yenga kelambitta ?") where are you going?, it was my dad asking me. Since that day was Sunday, he was at home. (Naanum perumayaa, groundukku poyee cricket vellada porennu sonnen) I told him that i was going to play cricket.
My dad advised me not to play in ground and the reason he gave me was i could become a bad boy if i join with slum guys. He asked me to play in school or play in computer. But my school ground was so small and P.T.E period they will only teach exercise and drill. Annilaa irundhu appaaku theriyama groundukku poi velada aramichen. But the ground is on the way to my home and when my dad comes from office, he has to cross the ground and come. So when i see my dad's bike far away, i used to run to my home like a criminal escaping from police. Ithula koduma yennanaa, i used to run home from ground and immediatly change a new dress, cause thinking that he would have seen my dress color so to escape from his doubt i used to do this. But still my dad cought me 3 or 4 times, had got whippings too. Appidi oru dad's imsainalaye naan groundukku pogaratha vittuten also i left playing cricket. This incident slowly created a hatred towards cricket. And now i don't even know anything about the players of any country. I don't even know about Indian team players, and match schedules. This is why i dont follow cricket and cricket news :(
